As Bonfire Night Approaches...

I'm dreading tommorrow night. Don't get me wrong, I love the colourful fireworks, but it's just the thought of all those poor Hedgehogs that will get burned...
And all the noise from the fireworks. The poor Hedgehogs are going to be scared to death!

I've been on just about every forum I can find to try and spread the word about Hedgehogs and bonfires.
I only hope that it has worked...

We just have to hope bonfires are checked - we can't do anymore than spread the word.

It isn't only hedgehogs who suffer, other animal do too. My dog gets very worried by the sounds she hears yet can't understand. :|

I know, this is really bad.
As I've said, I've been spreading the word like crazy. Hopefuly all will go well.
I don't know why some people pay £30-£40 to go to a firework display- I just look out the window!

I have already heard about Hedgehog being injured. I know that tonight is going to be even worse.

I think there should be a national campaign for Hedgehogs this time of year .It needs someone to remind people of the dangers .

That's a good idea - there is some coverage but not enough. It is already upon us, but maybe next year we can do something.

It has been wet here so there was not many bonfires and fireworks last night. Maybe they will set them off tonight or something.
This time next year, I think all the members of this forum should really have a good talk about what campaigns we can do to save them.
