Found Hedgehog
Hello,
My email does not work so I could not register.
I have found a Hedgehog that is very small. Around 360g or so. I don't know much about Hedgehogs, so I don't know what to do with it.
I think it has fleas or something.
I also think it has a Tick or two.
What do I do?
Thanks,
Bev.

Re: Found Hedgehog
Hedgehogs shoul be handled carefully with a pair of think gloves. This is because their sharp spines may hurt, and Hedgehogs in distress may bite.
Put the Hedgehog in a Cardboard Box, making sure that the bottom of the Box has Newspaper and a old Towel at the Bottom.
You can add a Hot water bottle if you wish to give warmth, this can be also made out of any plastic container with warm water in. But please make sure that the water in not boiling, and is not in direct contact with the Hedgehogs skin.
Make sure that the Hedgehog cannot escape, as they may try to do so.
Please make sure that you get the Hedgehog help as soon as possible, either from a Vet, a Wildlife Rescue or a Hedgehog Rescue.
Thank you,
Bethany.

Re: Found Hedgehog
Whereabouts are you? There may be a carer in your area - PM if you would rather not say on the open forum.
Re: Found Hedgehog
Does not matter. They can tell us and then we can delete the message if they want?
Re: Found Hedgehog
I live near you then.
You can take the Hedgehog to three places where you live:
