Dark Nights
Some how the dark nights here are making me feel depressed.
It reminds me of how many Hedgehogs die at this time of year :pale:
And right now it's starting to get really busy around here.

Re: Dark Nights
I too will add to that!
Especially Halloween. I don't mean to sound misrable- 16 year old kids knocking on the door, I thought it was meant to be for the children?

Re: Dark Nights
We go round my in-laws for Halloween dinner, I don't agree with Trick or Treating but we have a spooky time, my 2 sons dress up and we have a lovely meal!
Re: Dark Nights
I have never, ever been Trick or Treating. No wonder young people these Days have rotten teeth- too many sweets.
For Halloween this year, we watched a spooky film.

Re: Dark Nights
trick or treating should be banned, loads of kids you dont even know begging for sweets on your doorstep, saying that i never heard one this year .

Re: Dark Nights
I can't wait for Christmas.
Autumn is my favourite time of year, despite the Dark nights. I also love Winter too. There are lots of Birds coming over at this time of year, amazing to watch too!

I love seeing the trees with a frost on early in the morning and seeing your own breath in the air . Also its great to hear the ground crunch under foot . :rendeer:

Re: Dark Nights
I have just thought of a new topic to chat about!!
Autumn mornings are so pretty when there has been an overnight frost, the cobwebs look amazing!!
