HELP!
I have Spikey Norman, found him as a very small hog about 5 years ago and have cared for him ever since. He has NEVER left our garden! Now through circumstances beyond my control I have to move and Spikey just can't come-dillema-can I let him go in the wild? Will he cope? Any thoughts from anybody out there? Whatever is decided will be sad, just want to do the best thing for Spikes! I am in Eastbourne East Sussex .

Re: HELP!
As long as he is not disabled then he should be able to be released back in to the wild.
I once looked after a Hedgehog for about 2 years, and it was then returned to the wild, where it did just fine. I'm sure Spikey will do just as well.
Good luck,
Bethany.

Re: HELP!
If he has got very used to you and not scared, it would be wise to withdraw a bit so he reverts to being wary of people. Still put food out, but keep quiet etc.
