yet another hog coming in

Just had phone call to say another baby is coming to me in a couple of hours time. The real sad bit is its still lying next to its dead mum. Is this hot weather causeing a shortage of food for the adults.

Nice one, ron. How many do you have in your care currently? How'd you advertise about your 'services'?

I am a member of the BHPS and they know I am a carer, they are the ones who people get in contact with when they need a carer. And also I take them of the local vet and in return I gat cheap medicines.

At the moment I have 6 babies and 3 older ones. Plus all the ones that come to feed in the feeders at night.

When in the year do you find is the busiest?

Last year it was the auyumn that I was getting the babies and this year its now

So it can vary?

Yes it ca vary. But it will often be most busy Autumn time, when there are 'hoglets' about.
