What Is Your New Year Resolution?

I am not normally the sort of person to have a new year resolution, but this year I have one. Its not a very interesting one:

To do my college work as soon as I get it. To do my best and aim high.

I have a bad habit of sometimes leaving my work till the last moment, but despite this I still get good grades.

I have made them in the past and failed to keep them, so haven't for ages but am thinking this year I ought to make this one;

Not let myself get too caught up in work, keep private and work life separate ... be better a saying 'no' to 'would you just look at...' when I am in my own time.

Haven't worded it very well, but I know what I mean!!

I certainly know what you mean.

But will you keep it is the big question?

I will break mine within a few days, is my bet.

I think I will, I have been getting better at it since the new school year began in September, and when I was emailed lesson plans to look at, then sent a text asking my opinion on something else I thought no, not going to keep doing it. My home time is precious to me and I musn't allow myself to get caught up with work when I am not there and also not getting paid for it!!

It's a shame I have to go out to work, then I could devote more time to hedgehogs!
