Adverts - old and new
Are there any old adverts (to some of us 'old' is older than others!) you would love to see again?
Are there any now that you can't stand to see or hear?
I thought it would be fun to see what memories we can bring back, or all agree on some that are so annoying they should never be aired!!

I'll start!!
I used to love the 'Smash' ads with the little metal alien things, and the 'secret lemonade drinker' one!
(that's just a couple, there are tons!!!)
As for annoying - I cannot stand the Frontline ad, the way the woman says the last line is soooooo irritating....
"the gesture of love you can trust" - her voice really grate on me!

Re: Adverts - old and new
I hate the spot cream adverts by the americans, oh so annoying! People my age make a big deal out of one little spot, it is just so annoying.
And then there is the Subway one, with that annoying cucomber on it that speaks ''I am not angry, just disapointed'', in one of its silly voices
I don't really like any adverts, having to wait ages while people advertise.
I will have to pick out one I like....
Bethany.

Re: Adverts - old and new
there used to be an advert which was brill, can't remember what it was for though (thats how good it was!!) at the end it gave you a choice of what you wanted to happen,2 options, and to turn to a certain channel to see that option. if that makes sense or am i talking gibberish again

Not complete gibberish Jo - I remember an advert like that but also have no idea what it was for!!
Re: Adverts - old and new
Sounds like a goos advert so that one does.
Hmm. Which one do I like?
Not really any of them!
I don't like the vimto one with the boy with the big pants, was funny at first but has been on so long it is now annoying.
