I am not very experienced in the treatment of hogs when they are ill . My question is this.
Are there any tell tale signs of what is wrong with a hog when you first see it ? All help is appreciated

There is lots of advice on my website about this and on the sick/injured Hedgehog section.

Visit here for first aid:

I don't know much either, but I've got this info>
-Green poo is a sign of worms.
-Any messy behaviour like doing their stuff all up the walls is also a sign of worms.

Hope that helped...abit!

The advice so far is spot on - some things we can deal with like ticks, fly eggs, worms, but sometimes you just know that you need a vet to take a look.

I'm not actually sure that answered the original question - it's supposed to but my wording doesn't seem right! Argh Sign
