The RSPB Got It Wrong Too

I had 4 books about wildlife for Christmas.
2 of which tells the reader that bread and milk is fine for Hedgehogs.

But the RSPB book called 'Secret Lives Of Garden Wildlife' alarmed me. They had a picture of a Hedgehog eating bread and the words alongside it '....Bread and milk is fine.....' and although they go on to say that dog meat is better, the damage is already done, because people are more likely to have bread and milk than dog meat.

I feel that not much can be done on this issue. It makes me wonder just how many books out there have incorrect information like this in them.

oh dear, the message about bread and milk really needs sorting, why oh why is it still got so very wrong?

I turned to the back of my other book, the Collins complete animal guide which cost £17, and they had that same picture! Saying you can feed them bread and milk!

it drives me mad, things like this
maybe you should write to them and let them know the poss dangers for the hedgehogs by giving out wrong info.

This is an outrage! I wish they would get their information correct!
