Re: Hedgehog Carer
I have been waiting since September to be added!
Maybe I'm not good enough.
I emailed them again last night (did a while back, got a reply saying they had carers to add to the list and were busy) saying I now have better facilities - hope they get it and add me.

I dont think they are as busy as they say, mine only took about 3 weeks from start to finish but I think what helped me a bit was I appeared on the TV at the same time with my hogs. And also they have watched most of my hog videos I thnk a phone call would be better as emails sometimes goes astray. As for not being good enough I am sure you are and anyway how would they know, I say give them a phone call.
Re: Hedgehog Carer
I just rang the BHPS, while talking my form was found - buried!
It is being sorted today.

Re: Hedgehog Carer
I am now registered with the BHPS!
Got a hand written apology for it taking so long, and now have a heat pad.

Re: Hedgehog Carer
Glad that its now all sorted and you have had a free heat pad as well. And also it great to have someone else on here to give advice on looking after the hogs. if you have got you carers pack see if you can find the bit on saving ink cartridges as I seem to have lost mine and forgot which one you can save and the ones that are no good.
Re: Hedgehog Carer
I had a carers pack some time ago, but have also mislaid the bit about ink cartridges!
I got the carer pack when I joined the BHPS, that was how I got to know about being one of their carers but didn't send the form off until September which as you now know got lost! They clearly have a record of the fact I have the pack as they didn't send another but sent another copy of their booklet 'Treating Sick Hedgehogs' for me to pass on to my vet, which I will do.

Re: Hedgehog Carer
the ink cartridges that they cannot recycle are epson or epson compatible cartridges, cannon bci, laser or toner cartridges.
they also collect used stamps and foreign or pre-decimal coins.
